All of us at some point in our childhood have spent a summer or two up in a tree house and if you have not then you surely have missed out on some great memories. And our fascination with living among the canopy does not end there and that is exactly why we find this beautiful contemporary home designed by mmp Architects all that more alluring. While most modern homes and structures are at odds with nature and at times seem out of place the fits right in.

There is no such thing as a “typical” deck. Every living space has its own unique style shape and purpose. For example some homeowners may be looking for a small deck – something just slightly larger than a balcony – that’s big enough for a grill or perhaps a small café table and chairs. Others may be looking for a multi-tiered party deck large enough for a tables lounge chairs and perhaps a Jacuzzi.

Different textures and elements were added to this with a koi pond on the north side along with some green around it. A small waterfall at the entrance welcomes you with elegance while a flowing sheet of water at the back separates the private pool area from the rest of the home.

The idea here is to create a that mixes form with function and yet stand out from the pack. And to achieve this they have used a rectangular box-like template with this small house that is set 100 miles south of the city of Lima.

Designed by Michael Katz and Janet Korne the L41home is a sustainable energy-efficient house that truly puts the style in compact living. In fact these designers are committed to providing modern architecture at an affordable price. The best part: L41 homes can stand alone as single units or they can be configured as multi-bedroom houses or high-rise structures!

The home is surrounded by beautiful forest area and to give its denizens the best possible view along with complete privacy (which is not to find in this part of the woods) the architects have used glass and wood extensively to create a sustainable and stylish structure.

The interiors are kept simple and not crowded and the ergonomic furnishings also help accentuate the home’s understated beauty. The stylish pool and the natural panorama surely allow you to kick back and live life at your own gentle pace.
