This latest revamped home comes in from South Africa and conjured up and completed by Nico van der Meulen Architects it is both modern and inviting in its outlook. The revamp project has been dubbed as ‘House The’ (Yup does not seem a very creative name but we can live with it) and the extensive remodeling was done on the ground floor as many of the internal walls were done away with to create one large and unobstructed flowing space.

Crafted to allow its residents to enjoy a wonderful view of the distant Argo Saronic Sea and sporting a lovely roof garden and glass staircase it provides for a comfortable and classy retreat. The building designed by 314 Architecture Studio sports three single-floor apartments with each one of them offering a single master bedroom along with two other smaller ones. One single look at the building and you will notice the extravagant use of glass that accentuates its beauty while offering the residents panoramic views of the nearby sea along with providing for natural ventilation.

However underground houses are known to have excellent natural insulation and climactic regulation in all seasons. Situated partially beneath the tower the home opens through 4 fully glazed walls toward a sunken central courtyard.
