One of the distinct aspects of this lively home is the fact that it reflects architectural style and interior arrangement that borrows extensively from South East Asian design.
The small house movement also known as the tiny house movement celebrates minimalist living and the beauty of well-built compact spaces. Eco-friendly materials are often used and the small scale of these residences encourages clutter-free interiors. A large number of compact homes built in recent years have been modern in style as the simplicity of these small structures blends seamlessly with contemporary design.
The designed by studio Bohlin Cywinski Jackson uses many natural elements which make it a part of the western oaks Douglas fir and the lush green yards that are part of this lovely creek. The 10200 square foot home seems to use mostly wood to ensure that the aesthetics of the interiors remain modern and yet ‘natural’ at the same time.
The architects and interior designers made a smart choice to achieve this specific target by using low cost and traditional building materials for the home while they went for top notch décor in order to furnish the home and achieve the required ‘expensive and luxurious’ look.
